Stemming from a culture where the arts of hairdressing were underappreciated, especially for women, our founder's unwavering passion led her to the skies as a Flight Attendant. Her first hairdressing salon in Mumbai wasn't just a business; it was a cradle for growth, innovation, and holistic beauty. From nurturing hair to embracing skin care, imparting knowledge in a training school for aspiring artists, to even introducing a tattoo studio, the salon was a symbol of comprehensive beauty and artistry.
The winds of change brought a bold move to the U.K. during challenging times. It was here, in Oxford, with two young daughters by her side, that our founder's resilience shone brightly. Amidst the echoes of recession, she established a thriving salon from the ground up, a testament to her dedication and love for her craft.

Euan Goddard2023-11-01I was in search of a natural hair dyeing salon as I had been applying henna on my hair for almost 15years and didn’t want to use any harsh chemicals. That’s when I discovered Leona. Although it was quite tricky to begin with as I had multiple colours on my hair due the henna, Leona helped get a uniform colour (dark brown) in the first application. She then had to work through my hair to get my final streak look with some reds.it was a laborious process and tiring. She was very patient and explained the whole process in detail, whilst being understanding, as I was anxious ( first time hair colouring). I’m happy and content with the outcome and would definitely recommend Leona. 👍

She provided me with options along with pros & cons and answered all questions I had to make me feel comfortable. She looks at long term care for your hair so really good to hear her guidance. As a trichologist, her knowledge of the hair exceeds a regular hairdresser and her precision, perfectionism, passion, creativity and joy for what she does are all manifested in the final 'product'. I have never felt so happy with my hair and I came out of the salon looking and feeling like a shampoo advert! I can't recommend her highly enough- especially is you are done with loading toxic chemicals on your hair and want a clean, organic and safe hair colour.
