I have been going to Leona's hair salon in Abingdon since it opened 7 years ago. In all of that time I have always been consistently impressed with the quality of service and professionalism that Leona and her staff show. The salon is like an oasis of peace,  where you can genuinely relax and Leona offers a very holistic approach by understanding your needs as a whole person, being aware of your lifestyle and ensuring that your hair cut, style and colour work around your needs. I was in search of a natural hair dyeing salon as I had been applying henna on my hair for almost 15years and didn’t want to use any harsh chemicals. That’s when I discovered Leona.
Although it was quite tricky to begin with as I had multiple colours on my hair due the henna, Leona helped get a uniform colour (dark brown) in the first application. She then had to work through my hair to get my final streak look with some reds.it was a laborious process and tiring. She was very patient and explained the whole process in detail, whilst being understanding, as I was anxious ( first time hair colouring). After enduring extensive and expensive harsh chemical treatments that left my hair in a sorry state, I was recommended to visit this haven of transformation by a dear friend.
Walking into Leona's salon was like stepping into a world of hope and rejuvenation. The salon was beautifully decorated, offering a warm and inviting atmosphere. The soothing music and a comforting cup of tea set the tone for a remarkable experience. What truly stood out was the professionalism displayed by Leona, who took the time to genuinely understand my concerns.
Leona's expertise shone through as she presented me with multiple options to restore my hair to its former glory. Her meticulous explanation of each possibility allowed me to envision the stunning outcome.

Leona is simply amazing! I was looking for an all organic and natural hair salon in the area and so glad I found her. As a certified trichologist, she knows hair/scalp very well and able to give you expert advice. She provided me with options along with pros & cons and answered all questions I had to make me feel comfortable. She looks at long term care for your hair so really good to hear her guidance. It is not an understatement to say that Leona is simply the best hairdresser I have ever seen. Ive lived in UK, Spain and France and have visited many hairdressers.
As a trichologist, her knowledge of the hair exceeds a regular hairdresser and her precision, perfectionism, passion, creativity and joy for what she does are all manifested in the final 'product'. I have never felt so happy with my hair and I came out of the salon looking and feeling like a shampoo advert!
